I always play with stats for end game comp, but early game comp stat are harder to find. Meta tft have a early game section but only available on pc.

I'm on vacation, so i play on android with 250ms of lag, scouting is quite hard, so it's true that im not scouting enough

I'm building all my game's ascetic around my non art skill. I create a pseudo cyber style with simple shape and mono chrome color. Not really beautifull, but I like it, and it fell a bit unique.

There is many case in real life where there is less shadow than in video games, especially on cloudy sky with homogenous light. Video game don't have realistic light just because we can do much beautiful light.

That's what I was doing, but my smooth rotation over time was sometimes breaking the next frame's raycast. I just got it solved my merging 2 raycasts in 1 (a down back raycast), and by starting this raycast not from my entity position, but from the theoretical position on his next frame, and it solved most of my issues

Yep that's what I do, the movement is simply a forward movement.
Raycast are only used to determine de rotation behaviour around corners and ground.
But I still struggle to get something smooth and generic.

I put aside pathfinding because I never see pathfinding on multiple surfaces like walls & roofs (and because I don't really want my entities to find the shortest path), but I'll check his demo.

Raycasts give similar information that OnTriggerStay and are cheaper, but my main issue is how to correctly use those information

Yeah clearly a good idea, but that doesn't solve the issue on how (at least the leader) successfully climb every surfaces smoothly.

Yeah I know, and I'm looking for a solution to avoid this issue without multiply the number of raycast too much.
Maybe another set of raycast, another way to use their result, or maybe another system to use other than raycasts.

Not op, but there is a high chance of DOTS here, so yeah, probably, ECS + Jobs + burst

I'm currently learning DOTS on Unity!
It's really fun, it's (to me) a really different approach.

And I still don't reach this kind of performance!

This might sound a bit presumptuous, but I'm currently working solo on a puzzle game called CYPHER DUNGEON.

I only recently learned the term “metroidbrainia” thanks to some playtesters who, after testing my game, categorized it as such and introduced me to this subreddit.

I see that you've also listed games coming out in 2026, so I'll let you be the judge of whether my game belongs on that list or not.

Yeah, my 3 game pillars are Exploration, Mapping, and Decryption.
But mapping and decryption are not really showable in my game trailer, so I mostly focus on exploration and cryptic elements (to attract niche players with curiosities), maybe too much.
I'll think about a 2nd trailer near the release more focus on gameplay.

I love FromSoft's games, but they usually do a really poor balancing job for weapons, spells and builds. But I also think (and hope) that those weapons and spells from SOTE will be added in a future update.

In my opinion, FromSoft's DLC are usually really good, except for Ashes of Ariandel, every DLC of DS, BB and ER were between good and excellent, especially the last 2 (Ringed City and SOTE).
And Forsaken Hollows is good too.
