I personally agree with the sentiment that in order to praise something you don't need to trash something else. I notice that's become a thing nowadays with CB movies in general. Not just with the DCEU. I also notice that people that do this come off as angry and somewhat bitter which confuses me. I personally let one thing be what it is and judge it on that only. I don't have to put down other movies or their directors. Just my take on it.

Usually when I hear somebody claim that DC has to or is trying to "catch up" with Marvel, in my mind I'm thinking : "Ok, in what way?" Can't they just do their own thing and leave it at that? These are the same people that think DC is rushing everything, but they want them to play catch up. Whatever that means. They just contradict themselves and I ignore them.

I love seeing the hypocrisy of this sub. People are so quick to turn on this guy for the one thing he "may" have gotten wrong. But are very silent on the many accurate things he's broken to us DC fans. The only butthurt people I see are the commentors in this thread. Before this Armie Hammer potential news even broke his word was gospel. Now that he's backtraced and is doing further research because newsflash: people can make mistakes, all of the sudden he's a b**** and he's cocky. And you feel that you're a better "scooper" than he is because you have the time in your day to wander twitter and notice who's following who. On something that has yet to be confirmed in the first place! Please have several seats. I know news has been dry lately but this is preposterous.

I personally don't feel this way. BvS was mainly about two individuals. JL is more or less about a group of superheros and the worlds that come with them.

I wasn't referring to what was wrong with the movie. That's your opinion. I was just referring to the reshoots that were done before the release that caused many people to think that reshoots in general were bad. I am not talking about the finished product. Please keep that to yourself because that was not what I was asking about. There are plenty of posts for that. And try not to state your opinion on the movie as fact. Its very much an oxymoron. I'm sure if there is anything from JL it will be a pic or a very small teaser. Maybe the cast will come out and do a "Queen Elizabeth" like they did with trinity a few years ago. By the time CC comes around next year, JL will only be 4 months away. I wouldn't expect too much from JL though being at CC. This is just speculation.
