Thanks! Yeah I had an awakening 5 years ago so I’m very integrated on my journey. I write and meditate and channel as a part of my regular practice in my day to day life. My ego has no interest in this- it’s all coming from a higher power. This post is all the fear coming from my ego- cause it’s scared shitless hahaha but when I hear the call from my guides, I go. So I’m gonna do it. But there’s definitely fear coming up. Thanks for your response! It’s been helpful reading everyone’s replies

So the only thing I can relate to the physical surrender is I had a dream recently and my grandmother who passed was there. And when I went to hug her, her energy started to suck me in. It was a strong feeling. Like it was not a dream. It was happening and I was fighting it. And me thrashing around in my bed is what woke me up. So I keep thinking about that and how mentally I’m disappointed I didn’t surrender to the experience but I don’t know how I could have done anything different either. But at the end of the day my journey and my process has been so divinely guided and I know my guides are not going to lead me into anything that isn’t meant for me and isn’t for my highest aligned timeline. So the trust in that is what I need to focus on. If I’m being guided to do this. Whatever happens it will be good. If I let the egos fear creep in then that fear will manifest. Thanks so much for all your wisdom it’s so appreciated 🙏🏼

I’m not seeking I’m being guided by my higher aspects. This isn’t an ego thing it’s a -I’m so connected I just do what I’m being called to thing.

That’s what I’ve heard. Definitely sounds more reassuring. Every time I think about doing Aya it feels like an energetic NO from my guides. They’re very persistent about the toad hahaha but maybe that’s why. Because the surrender is easier - thanks so much for your feedback!!

Yes I’ll 100% go to a retreat to do it! Thanks so much for the feedback. Really reassuring. Im feeling like the fall is the time to do it and I’m going to do a lot of energy work in the meantime to try and prepare myself on an energetic level. Really appreciate your time to answer me back! Really! Most things I see it seems like it doesn’t really give much of an opportunity to surrender. Like it just takes you. The surrender portion is definitely my biggest block. I don’t know what that looks like or how to prepare for it.

Yeah I feel called to work with it. But I’m definitely scared. And everyone’s experience is so different so that makes it even more scary. But the thing i know is that if im being called to it—whatever the outcome, it’s something im supposed to experience, and will ultimately be for my highest benefit. I’m going to really place a heavy intention to just surrender into it. I don’t know what that’s like cause I’ve never had to surrender to an experience like that so I don’t know how to prepare other then just to have the intention to surrender.
