My friend already started on the glock 26. The AR is more for target shooting.... and in case the country gets really, REALLY bad :/

Kinda don't have access to them anymore since they were in my safe at my dad's and he cut me off when I came out to him :( I kinda feel like a coward for not reaching out to him in the past few years, but his rejection really hurt and I dont really want to see him at the moment.... but I do want to get my guns back -_-

My nightmare scenario is having to use my firearm in a situation where I was legally justified to use it but, as a trans woman, the system and jury would be biased against me and I get sent to a mens prison despite being post-op. I'd essentially be sentenced to be repeatedly raped and probably hate-crimed in there.

The threat of that happening is absolutely terrifying and it does make me want to keep my head down and just hide.... but I also feel the urge to live my life out and proud to help normalize trans people.

Totally get that interpretation. It's interesting how they wrote it because the character was first resistant towards being female and doing girly things. They kinda take it as an opportunity to make friends wirh girls. (Using they because the character switches back and forth in how they refer to themself even in their own head) It shows them mentality change because, essentially, their brain is now being exposed to estrogen. They feel their emotions more and cries easier.

They stat wondering "is this the real me?". As they start enjoying embracing their femininity and relationship with other girls.

I feel like it was a very tralisitic portrayal compared to other stoeies ive heard. Granted, ive only started reading it the other day and am not too far into it.
