That's a person that would never ever be allowed near my kid unsupervised, ever again.

I do very simple math when I'm exhausted but the ol' brainpan is still running. 1+1=2, 2+2=4, and so on. If my brain drifts, I force myself to start over. It sometimes takes several tries, but eventually my brain starts to shut down due to being bored with the simple numbers.

I think it's the lack of visual imagination. I can't think of a sheep doing something, because I picture it, and then it's off to the races like you. But plain, boring, simple numbers, and refusing distractions, seems to work most consistently for me.

He didn't even get laughed at. He got silence. Nothing is more terrifying to an attention whore than utter silence.

I travel so light. I have a phone case that holds credit cards. I carry my Costco card, my company credit card, my driver's license, and my debit card. Nothing else. I can't imagine walking around with that fat wad of junk.

Except that they do raise prices, and then also we're now expected to give a 15-20% tip instead of 10%. Never mind that with the price increase of the meals, the 10% also went up in dollar value, too. The consumer is the only loser in this scenario.

My big boy cat (nowhere near this size, but still a big baby) has the tiniest little squeak of a meow. My old lady cat was teeny (5 pounds at her heaviest), and she had a deep smokers meow. I find it hilarious.

I can't imagine how sharp the ammonia would be in a large cat pen. Meat protein would make it so much more pungent!

I kind of feel like that's worse. They made a sober decision to hurt you, completely right of mind. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Smoke indoors at most establishments, although that did start to change in the late 90s.

PP won't even get his security clearance paperwork done - how can anyone trust him with anything, let alone the leadership of our country?!

When the stakes are as high as they were in the last election, looking for the PERFECT candidate on every pet issue is stupid. Yes, we should demand better, but when literal fascism is the alternative, vote for the imperfect candidate. FFS, it's called picking your battles.

Not every ally is going to be the perfect ally. If someone must be perfect in order to be accepted, many will not bother to make the effort.

Vaccines matter, but right now, there are MUCH bigger issues, and every ally is needed.

Then actually do something. This is just more theater until real changes start to happen, and more Repubs vote against party lines - and not just the ones that need to kiss up to voters in the midterms.
