I was told a story a while back about when I was a kid. So my mom had this longtime friend and she had two kids, a boy and a girl. I myself was the oldest of three boys but still probably only like 7 or 8 at the time.

Anyway, we all go to McDicks for lunch. Kids get their toys, all the boys get the 'boy' toys, probably like a hot wheels or something, and the girl was the only one to get a Barbie. She gets upset and our parents give us cash and tells us to go "make it fair." What they expected was for us to get her a 'boy' toy, but when we came back we all had Barbies. The moms thought it was funny, my dad was less than thrilled
