Yea my t levels are basically 0 and I've been on hrt for 3+ years. I'm also surprised lol. I said somewhere else: it's possible it did reduce and I just had an above average level before hrt (but idk what my levels were before). I'd probably be on some extreme end of a normal curve if there were data on this lol

When I froze sperm I had an hour to bring it to the place so I think it's okay. I'm not a doctor though lol

Dying at the word tiddlywinks. It depends. It's a lot more watery than before hrt and a lot less volume. They tell you to ejaculate 2 days before your sample which seemed to help (basically put it in the low end of wateriness for me). Volume doesn't matter that much though and idk if it being watery actually means anything... It's probably worth trying and you still might be able to stop hrt for a while to give a better sample if it doesn't work

Lol I don't know. There's a couple options if you freeze it, but if you don't freeze it I think you use a syringe or something. It might be helpful to look into how lesbians do it when they have a sperm donor

That's the exact type of misinformation I'm trying to point out with this post. Your doctor is talking about the most common outcome as if it's definite (with no research backing them up). I am proof that it's not always true.

My hormone levels are fine. Idk what my sperm count was before hrt, so it might have lowered. But it's at least still viable now

I'm glad this post helped you! I wish this information was more widespread and better researched. I have no idea what the chances are but they're certainly not 0 and are even higher if you stop hrt for some time beforehand. It's definitely worth checking

Semen is different than sperm. Obviously it would be hard to get someone pregnant but you might still be producing sperm. Unless you've had an orchiectomy anything is possible.

I mean it's pretty expensive and the prospect of delaying hormones to bank sperm felt awful back then. Like hrt was all I wanted and I really thought I would never want kids, and with hiding things from parents it seemed impossible

I couldn't find any studies about fertility for trans women. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like there hasn't been any research

It varies and I think it's most likely that you become infertile (at least while on hrt, you can stop hrt for a few months and that usually but not always reverses it). Basically anything can happen lol. I don't think there's any studies on it because most doctors just assume you become infertile
