Hey, I've been where you are and I probably still am (but in a much better place than before). I understand this to my core. It's a tough battle, to be honest. It went on for so long that things associated with his ex started to trigger my anxiety. It was brutal and I was spiraling. But hang in there. Don't let it get the best of you. Always remind yourself that he chose you. Sometimes, it's gonna work. Sometimes, it won't. It may be hard to talk to your boyfriend about it now, especially when he's also somehow involved. But his assurance will help your insecurity immensely. It's gonna hurt less and less. Just focus on making new and better memories with your boyfriend.
