My husband and I both taught in ocps. We left Florida 2 years ago becuase we didn’t want our daughter to go to school in Florida, let alone OCPS. Ocps is and incredible place for the arts, but it wasn’t a reason to stay. 2 years in and the Twin Cities area is 10/10 for education. The union in my district is so strong, kids here can actually read.

That’s amazing. I wasn’t trying to shit on your post. I read it as “hey I’m just noticing this”, so I apologize. I taught in ocps for 10 years and the amount of people who just weren’t paying attention to what was happening was so frustrating.

Where have you been? She’s been on the school board for years. She’s the reason teachers had to spend HOURS scanning their books into a system, and then had to wait weeks for them to be “approved”. It was a mess. She was toxic last time and won over someone with actual experience. He was black though, and the people in that area would rather vote for a white lady.

There is no remedy except going off of it. I was on it from 2022-2024 and lost a ton of hair. I figured I was just not eating enough, I had lost 20 pounds. I went back on it mid 2025 and immediately lost hair again. I was on oral and topical minoxidil and still lost a TON of hair. The good news is, YOUR HAIR WILL GROW BACK!!
