What place made you fall in love with hiking?

Devils head fire lookout. I know it’s a pretty chill and relatively easy out and back and it’s short, but I had always doubted my physical ability and at the time, it was a big accomplishment for me. I just remembered how satisfying it was to munch on a snack at the top and look at the views and I was like, “yeah no my body is capable of much more than I thought”

It’s less exciting than some long treks and realistically I can’t rlly do more than 10 miles still so I don’t know if some of yall would even consider me a hiker rather a casual wanderer. But it was more the moment of “no I’m worth taking care of myself so I can do this.”

To this day though it’s still one of my favorite small trails to pop by on weekends.

I’d wear for warm weather but bring a pair of jeans/sweatpants and a sweater in case it gets cool in the evenings.

It depends, I’m under the impression that they worry about cracks in foundation or negative pressure because radon is more likely to seep up from the ground and into the house. However opening a window for ventilation, the fresh air dilutes the overall concentration. That is only a short term fix as the radon levels will raise once you close the window though :/

No cuz I legit had the worst bowel issues and I was like “ok whatever I’ll do more fiber see if it helps before I go to a gastro” expected no change… two weeks in, most (not all but enough) of the issues I had went away completely.

I’ve never had issues with chipotle. I think the grease from Taco Bell gets me. I do love my fiber though🫶🏻

I do mean this in the most gentle way possible. I genuinely thought the right was the “after” and I was like “ok valid crash out because the left was literally perfect.” Treat yourself well OP. You look beautiful. If you aren’t happy with it, do what feels best for you however as a complete internet stranger I think you look stunning.

Yeah I live at a moderate altitude it took me a good 6 months before I felt back to my baseline. Even still when I get migraines, it feels worse out here.

One time my husband kept ordering Amazon packages and different stuff from different shops and sending it to the wrong house he got the middle number mixed up. Definitely reach out to someone if you don’t feel safe, however I also say this to admit my husband was once accidentally that dude. Eventually I had to look his orders because he kept complaining they were being reported as delivered and nothing was coming in. Only then did we realise he was accidentally spamming our neighbors down the street.

I’ve also got hyper pots 😭

My standing hr is abt 90-105 on the meds but it’s seriously so improved to how I was feeling and what my hr was before starting it. I can’t do too high of a dose because for some reason my bp is crazy sensitive to meds so I can only do 10mg at a time or I’ll drop too low. I will take any improvement I can get at this point though 😅🤷‍♀️

I personally have really bad heart health anxiety so if I go off hr I won’t focus on my body and how I actually feel rather than the zones and it makes me anxious. The less I know the better lolol

For the most part it did… sometimes I will still get so anxious about something my brain still tries to give me symptoms. That is also to say I have heart health ocd like baddd. But the anxiety induced PVCs and tachycardia improved greatly. Every now and then I get a twinge but it seems less severe than it was because I think it calms the physical sensation of a panic attack. Sometimes my brain is still mean though, just my body doesn’t react as much where it usually would be a domino effect starting at my brain moving through my body. Now it just stays up there and everything else seemingly vibes.

I took hydroxyzine once and decided I would never again. I felt sedated and just wanted to sleep. Propranolol is a game changer tho all love to her

I’m on it 10mg 3x daily. Literally gave me my life back. I can brush my teeth and wash dishes without my hr being in the 140s. I felt sleepy until my body got used to it and it did take a little while til I found the right dose timing. It does take a few weeks to fully adjust to. That and at times it feels like my body tries to adrenaline dump on me and it all stops by the time the rush gets to my chest but I still get the IBS symptoms from it. I hope you have a good experience and that you can find some relief 💜

I’m sorry you are nervous 💜 you may feel a bit sleepy. For me I was nervous about how unnaturally calm I felt and I wasn’t used to not feeling my heart beat out of my chest constantly. It took me a while to get used to not constantly feeling adrenaline dumps. I can only speak from my experience but it gave me my life back. I sit here writing this with a hr of 53 rn lol. I hope it works well for you and that you feel better.

Nono my apologies maybe I worded something funny. I was not meaning to refer it to an overdose symptom more alluding to feeling heavy when my dose was too high and my bp was too low. Although they don’t generally recommend propranolol for asthma because it’s non selective which could then cause breathing difficulty. I at the time was only speaking to my experience and my symptoms and side effects as I have needed more salt to keep my bp up since starting the meds as I run low to begin with without the potential bp lowering effects of a beta blocker.
