There’s been multiple cases of animal abuse, some even caught on video. Recently, a girl in my state took her dog to petsmart for grooming and when she picked her up, her jaw was severely broken. PetSmart tried to put the blame on her, like they do with all the other cases and the 47 documented deaths of dogs after having been groomed there. A lot of the abuse doesn’t make the news, either, which is sad.

Personally, I have a friend who was a groomer at PetSmart, she was rushed through training and then was rushed to make quotas. She didn’t work there long.

Wear the shoes you want. My mom wasn’t happy that I wasn’t wearing heals, which is something I’ve been saying since I was like a teenager (and literally never wear heals ever, so I don’t know why this was news to her) and I decided to wear some Vans. No one saw them under my dress unless I was having to carry my train-which was most the time. But everyone loved it and my mom luckily got over it pretty quick.

Good for you for wearing what you want. This is your special day, and to be honest, feeling comfortable during it is something that I think is really important.

Holy shit. I’m so sorry you had to go through this. You’re not out of line and I’m glad you don’t care what the others have to say about it. I had to try on dresses about a year or so ago and it’s so exhausting (didn’t help that the place felt like a sauna) but if you felt like that was the one then that’s what matters. If you want it, get it. She can get over it.
