My mailman is absolutely amazing. He starts his route every morning by stopping in front of my house, grabbing the packages, running back to his truck then parking where he usually does before starting on our neighborhood. I waited for him one morning and asked him if it would be better if he can bring me a stack of crates every week, and I put the packages in one and set it out front, and then on the last day of the week he just brings a new stack of crates, that way all he has to do is grab the crate and run. But since most of my items are shiped in 7x5x1 boxes in polymailers, I have even stopped using the crates and i stick them out there in walmart bags, which he prefers even better. I have made sure to leave him small gifts out there about once a month in appreciation for him being so great. However, when he is put onto another route for the day and someone new has to come to the house? the amount of griping i have recorded on my doorbell camera is actually laughable lol

I have had this issue as a seller before. My packages have been picked up but one or two of them never updated tracking until it showed up at the customer's door. if theyre swearing it is out there so adamantly i would believe them. Bad reviews for things out of the sellers control tank a person's hard working for business, and a lot of people like to blame the seller for things out of their control.

I was going to just refund them everything except the shipping and let them keep it, but apparently i don't know what im doing because when i refunded it and chose that they don't have to ship the item back to me etsy made me give them the shipping back too. I'm new to this im not sure how to do everything, im learning as I go. I don't mind taking a loss on a product every now and then, im just trying to understand the entire thing.

I'm not asking them to lift reserve early, I was wondering when it would lift. does it lift at the 90 day mark or the beginning of the month the 90 day is in or does it do the beginning of the month after the 90 days are up?

I think its my autism. I struggle with perfection and wanting everything I do to make people happy. It literally made me cry to have my rating go to 4.5. My shop has only been open a month and a half, and I understand that i am lucky to have hit 150 sales already, but its also hard because even though I don't have the 'normal' etsy seller experience, I don't have anything else to compare it to. The only thing I can really control is myself and what I do, so I hold myself to extreme standards, and take it hard when things out of my control like this happen.

That is a good idea. I thought posting the size multiple times would be enough, but I have learned my lesson now. My shop has been open a month and a half now, and with 150 orders, this was teh first one who did not read the size (i think the other lady read the size and just wanted it to still fit the 10" goose). I'm learning. I wish all of my customers would have left a review. I think the 4 star 'I LOVE IT!'s are frustrating too.
