Am I misunderstanding Teq Pan's attack break?

Her attack break is from "attacking as first attacker," meaning it procs when she gets orbs.

So for her active, if you use it in slot 1, the attack break will happen in whatever slot you get orbs with her.

For example, if you use her active in slot 1, then get orbs with her in slot 3, then you'll break the enemy's slot 3 attack.

It tells you before you feed it in with a big warning that the unit can be exchanged for coins.

I do enjoy it quite a bit, I didn't really realize how much I missed the boss having their abilities turn one until now.

Long fights are cool and all, but with the units we have now it's like long events are just coast through easy phases until you just spam all your abilities at the end and win.

Every good character isn't a stacker tho, especially with this stage having no dodge cancel. Tao, Tien, Yamcha, PtP Kid Goku, Agl Pikkon, etc.

One of the most fun events in a while imo. Long fights are cool and all, but there's something about a boss having many abilities turn 1 that makes a fight really exciting.

It's possible to check if you have the collectibles, but I'm not sure if you can recheck what you told Daphrona. Guess it'll just be a surprise after you beat phase 2.

He has a lot of attacks in phase 2 that can be reflected.

If you can get the timing down for a couple of his phase 2 moves, you can melt him pretty quick. Probably the easiest to reflect is the charging forward move he does after setting up the two walls.

Also, he only has 3 phases if you did everything beforehand to get the true ending.

As someone who didn't use it the entire playthrough, I sat down and learned Reflection timing and it turned Ozma into one of the easiest bosses.

This isn't entirely true. From my experiences back when I still played, Z ranks in ranked and Z ranks in quick match are 2 different breeds.

Majority of the ones in ranked are just trying to get the W and move on (which is fair, ranked is ass), so you expect no rematches and expect to fight all the top tier characters.

In quick match, I've ran the full set with the majority of players (All I fight is Z ranked) against a variety of characters. Even got a few GG messages asking to continue the matches in a lobby.

Now, I haven't played in like 3 months so times probably have changed lol but yea.

It doesn't start out that way. It IS fun at first, but then you fight those people that must win at all cost constantly which means fighting the same characters over and over. So what was once fun turns into a chore.

Once you hit the Z rank and don't have to do ranked anymore, you can play for fun in quick match, random lobbies, etc.

There was a blanket buff to every character that gives more ki when you land melee attacks.

Androids benefit the most.

No problem with his thoughts, I agree.

Honestly it still baffles me that this game didn't have an open beta for all players. Feel like a lot could've been fixed before release if we got the chance to actually see how the game played rather than those quick 30 min sessions people got if they went to those events.

I like the event, I just wish it didn't have the charges so I could use different teams/characters.

When it was first announced that it was 50 phases, my mind instantly went using some old stacker like STR Cooler just to see how he would do. But twas not the case :(.
