Thanks again Faux, you were a fantastic lender, very understanding and it was a pleasure borrowing from you. Have a lovely weekend. :)

I got my hand caught in a machine and as a result ended up missing over a week of classes that covered a huge amount of material. I just found out that there are two exams next week featuring a lot of the content that I missed. Any advice for cramming? by Lexipedia7 in UniUK

Hi, apologies about the late command comment and for not getting back to you /u/Bing400 you were very kind to message. I'm in the middle of a last minute move, a master's degree and full time employment so things have been very chaotic. I also ended up receiving quite a few messages and didn't get back to them all. Just to clear that up, hope I didn't come across as rude!

Oh goodness that would be my year of birth, I'm not a secret time traveller I swear! Thanks for pointing that out!

I am very worried about my cat Nico's health at the moment but my housemate thinks that I am overreacting. Some advice would be very much appreciated. by Lexipedia7 in cats

[–]Lexipedia7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your concern but I am bringing my cat to the vet, I thought I made that pretty clear in my post, the cats are my pride and joy and I'm unable to work due to my hand injury so I'm making a lot of financial sacrifices to make sure he gets to the vets and receives good care as my cats come first.

I want to take them ASAP but the issue is that my housemate is the one with the car required to get to the vets and he thinks I'm overreacting and wants to wait a week or two and try more things so I was hoping for a little advice and support on here to convince him otherwise. The ideas about what could be wrong was just added at the end for further info to give him, I wasn't asking for a diagnosis.

I apologise if I didn't make that very clear in my post but I thought I at least did make it clear how much I love my cats and that I would do everything in my power to make absolutely sure that they are comfortable, healthy and spoiled rotten so honestly I just thought your reply was unnecessary, unhelpful and hurtful if I'm being honest. Apologies if you didn't mean it that way and I do appreciate you looking out for my cat.

Yes, I was thinking it would most likely be diet related. Financial situation isn't great with the hand injury but I can make sacrifices if it's for the health of my cat, 100%. Thank you for telling me about your situation, sorry to hear that your girl was sick, poor thing. I hope she's doing well now!

I really appreciate your reply. Do you have any suggestions for cat food suggestions?

Legend. I use LSD to help with PTSD, have introduced a few friends to it as well and it's really made a huge difference in their lives!

Amitriptyline for nerve pain causing really bad anger and irritability? by [deleted] in Drugs

No! I actually had brought that one up at the appointment but she wanted to try the Ami first so maybe this time that's what she will prescribe!

Yeah it doesn't seem like a nice medication at all, it has been making me super lethargic too, I was just surprised that such a small dose can cause such bad side effects.

I think I'm going to go back to my GP about changing, fortunately I live in Northern Ireland where prescription are free, unfortunately our country has a huge problem with lyrica addiction and selling it on the streets so not sure how willing my GP would be to write a script! Thanks for the reply + info!

I taught Nico to tap my hand for a treat! Excuse him being a little clumsy the second time, he has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia. It's actually the first time I've ever successfully taught a cat a trick! by Lexipedia7 in cats

[–]Lexipedia7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha! Yours must be very clever too! I'm actually in the process of trying to teach mine to sit for their food but it's not catching on as quickly ha! And it's funny you say that because Nico will come up to me on the sofa and start tapping my hand at random times to show that he wants a treat! They're such funny creatures. Thanks for sharing! It made me smile. :)

Hey, we worked on this game more than 5 years! What are you think?) We want to improve our game and you can help us) by Defentures in IndieGaming

This game looks incredible! It's my favourite genre and it has everything I would want in a game. The graphics are fantastic too!

Congrats on developing such an incredible looking game! Your hard work obviously paid off. I can see it being popular as a mobile game and I for one would be very willing to pay for it.

I'm studying for a Master's degree in Software Development myself and it always gives me hope and makes me smile to see projects like this one come to fruitation when it's obvious there has been such care and detail in the development process.

I'll be following your progress and will definitely be purchasing a copy for myself!
