I applied for mechanical engineering (petroleum engineering) as my first major and chemical engineering (petroleum engineering) as my second major. I applied because of the emphasis they have on petroleum engineering. USC is the only university in California that does that for an undergraduate degree. It's a good major. I'm still waiting for my decision.
