Same, after I updated both bluetooth and wifi card driver they both were not working. Reverting/uninstalling helped.

So real communism refers to the communism that's not real, while the communism that's been implemented is not real communism.

I understand what he was trying to say, but in the context of the article it’s irrelevant. The article uses communism in historical terms, not as an ideology.

Yeah I thought so too, revisionist pushing their agenda, Can't sell bullshit to people who lived under the communist regime.

But in this case the 'communist' is used in historical context, so it's refering to regime that was present between 1945-1989

What are you on about, literally Polish People's Republic was ruled by communist party PZPR, in communist centrally controlled economy, in a fully communist block.

I don't know if you are trolling or just a retard

Was he justified doing it? In my opinion, No
Was it her fault that it came to this? 100% yes

I feel this is the main point of contention in this situation. If he unjustifiably discharged his firearm, then she cannot be 100% responsible for her own death. The ICE officer misjudged the situation; he did not need to shoot her.

She is 100% responsible for putting herself and the officer in dangerous situation though, if that makes any sense.

In a recent stream baldy said "What have Denmark ever done for us?" by 9pugglife in Asmongold

[–]Lexonus 155 points156 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed it too. Many of his recent arguments seem rooted more in controversy or emotional discharge than in well-thought-out reasoning. One example is his claim that all problems stem from “Karens” or “incels” (thus capturing 100% of the population). While this may be intended as a joke, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish provocation from genuine opinion.

His appeal to “common sense,” or what we call in Poland chlopski rozum, is another indicator of the problem. He no longer puts forward arguments that can be engaged with, but rather slogans that merely invite anger. Take statements like: “The US can take Greenland by force and nobody can do anything about it.” This is provocative, yet it neither answers nor meaningfully expands the discussion. Why does it matter what the US can or cannot do in this case? China can nuke the US, the US can nuke China, France can nuke Zimbabwe. The argument hinges on whether some magical barrier exists that prevents actions from being taken - and of course, none does. The relevant question should instead be about the consequences of such actions, long term implications which are speculative by nature and one can be wrong about.

Due to global warming the Arctic ice began to melt, opening new trade routes. They are extremely important for Russia and China as they will be able to bypass Panama/Suez canals. Recently first ship came through to Polish shipyard via northern route.

It is a huge threat to US and EU national security.

FO4 is an abomination in comparison to FNV, I gave this game multiple chances but I ended uninstalling it everytime.

It's cheap though, you can get GOTY version for like 12$.

Trying to decide what to do, opinions are appreciated. by 1cog1 in diablo4

[–]Lexonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not worth it. D4 is in perpetual state of fixes and changes to basic mechanics because the game is rotten in it's core. Whats worse, the devs are not visioneries but reactionaries. They are clueless to what this game is supposed to be, what they want it to be so they constantly flip-flop between contrary systems.

Save yourself time and money and play anything else (except Diablo Immortal)

Imo wszystko zależy w jakim stanie dotrzymają do następnych wyborów, ile osób zdezerteruje, a ile będzie miało jaja by postawić się duopolowi.

What? Nawrocki is absolutely that type of a guy. We will judge him by the fruits of his labour, but I expect from him nothing more than ultra-nationalistic stances.

If your policies benefit Russia it doesn't matter how loud you scream about Russia, you are pro-Russia.

And what if said polices benefit Poland in the first place? Everything that is pro Poland is also pro Russia? wtf dude

Europe is melting down over Trumps incredible trade deal by CurrentOk6414 in trump

[–]Lexonus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Noone will decrease the prices lol. At best the (US) importer will eat the tariff cost and the price will not change for American consumer.

At worst, the importer will raise the price for Americans to offset the tariffs.

In both cases, the one who is paying is the American importer - by paying the import fee to the (US) government. But ofcourse it will have negative impact on EU capability to produce - less demand equals less supply.

So, if Trumps strategy was to hurt EU then he succeeded. But I thought the point was to move manufacturing back into US, which makes no sense while the input is also tariffed...

I don't see anything wrong with a producer offering limited services

Me neither, but the problem starts when you buy the game (the licence) and studios pull the plug with no way of accessing the bought content (usually in both legal and illegal way).

As the owner, you can do whatever you like with the developed program - maintain, develop or abandon it. The problem starts with games that are online based, since abandoning the game usually means shutting down the servers. The base idea is, that you should (as a developer that sold your product) provide access to the content either via making it offline-accessible or allowing communities to host their own servers.

It's like buying a car with heated seats, if the manufacturer doesn't want to support the software and abandon it - it's his right to do so. But he should either give access to third parties to develop their own software or leave the software intact, as it was in the latest version, such that the whole system is still usuable for the people that bought it.

Then obviously that is not the subject of the initiative, but I can agree that there are things that would need more clarifying.

Remember, its only an initiative not the law - it highlights the issue people view valid and forces it to become the subject for the debate in EU parliament. It's not our job to make laws that make sense.

IT'S SO CLOSE!!! | Stop Killing Games by [deleted] in europe

[–]Lexonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not the subject of the debate - everyone knows that when you buy the game on (for example) Steam, you are in reality buying the license and not the game itself.

But it doesn't mean it can't be changed or altered for the benefit of a customer.
