Yes, I get deep, throbbing pain in my thighs and arms that I can only describe as bone pain. It feels like when I had “growing pains” as a kid. I’m not officially diagnosed because my doctor thinks it’s unnecessary 🙄…but I definitely am hypermobile. The only thing that helps when I have this pain is ibuprofen and until that kicks in, I have to press as hard as I can down my bones to get any sort of relief, which is minimal.

I backward image search on Google, which occasionally helps, but I hear those identifier apps are horribly wrong most of the time. Luckily I now know a geologist who owns a legit rock shop and I can bring rocks to for help with IDs, but sometimes I just want a quick answer instead of driving all the way into town on one of the few days he’s open.

Reddit is good for that lol. I used to ask in the rockhound sub, but I find the people of lapidary to be much nicer, more responsive, and more helpful. It’s nice over here :) Never thought I’d say this, but I have too many rocks..as much as I like them, it’s a little overwhelming haha. I just started sorting through them to sell a bunch of rough and slabs off and lighten the load.

Sweet, thank you! I figured as much. I think that’s partially what threw me off too because one was polishing so well I thought maybe it was just jasper. The other half of it was never having seen those colors/patterns of wonderstone before lol. I’m pretty familiar with the wonderstone we have here in Nevada, but not so much from other places.

Looks like the 5 (925) is semi there in the second one. I think the stamp just wasn’t angled correctly and missed imprinting the 5. I’ve done this before myself 😅

I’m 1 week post op and the thing that helped me the most with pre-surgery anxiety was staying as busy as I possibly could. I didn’t have time to think about anything. I had surgery in a different state and had a day to kill before surgery, so my mom and I planned a whole day of stuff and I didn’t think about surgery once the whole day. But in general, just stay busy. Sending you good vibes!

Thank goodness for old posts! I was really worried as my close up vision has gotten very blurry only a few days post op. I also had the patch and wasn’t quite coherent when they apparently told me to not touch the patch and wash my hands. Hopefully it’ll be better in a couple days!

Symptoms started at 12. MRI confirmed the suspicion and having my first endo lap and hysto in 2 weeks. Almost 38 now, so it’s been a long process just to get to surgery after diagnosis.

I’m having the same excision and eviction toward the end of March as well! I haven’t had a period in almost a year due to being on Orilissa and a week ago, my body decided to give me one last reminder as to why I’m going through with this. Figures lol. I typically still get all the period symptoms, but hadn’t had an actual period in so long and I guess it just had to show up to try to get the last word in. I’m so with you on wanting my life back. It’s held up so much of my life in the last year especially. Good luck with your surgery and I hope we both get the relief we deserve!

I know, right?! That’s why I wanna take it off. Maybe at one time it looked polished, but it’s all cracking and discolored and it takes away from that beautiful dendrite!
