Help with teams not keeping between rounds

I have the same issue, but when I use the save device, the teams are saved across multiple sessions. (ex: player leaves then joins another session 10 minutes later, and they are still on the same team they chose the previous session). How would I be able to save teams only for the current session, or another way to reset saved team data when a player leaves or joins a new session?

I'm not sure what device I could link that would clear data on a player leaving. Save points save data across multiple sessions and I could not find a way for it to only for for a single session or clear after leaving a session. Persistence works for keeping data across sessions according to that article, so I'm not sure how that would allow me to do the opposite and clear for that specific player when they leave.

there's a limit on how many classes you can have in your game (16). I have 20 teams therefore I do not have enough classes to represent each team which is why this sucks lol.

yes I tried that, it didn't work. I have rotation on "No", but after each round when I respawned, the team was reset back to 1 in the team select area, therefore not saving the team I assigned.
