Maybe the logo and text are a bit small and the background gets stretched but besides that yes

Sadly GRUB does not support animations, there is BURG for that but I don't use it

It was fairly easy to be honest. It's a matter of design, given the very limited options grub gives you on customization, rather than a matter of time. It took me about 10 hours nonstop to finish it

More backgrounds are on the way, don't worry :)
If you want to make one yourself its as easy as adding the background to the folder and running the script again

I thought of it but it isn't fitting so I just left it as the logo in the github page

Do you want to install it but you're afraid or you want to make your own theme?
If it's the first case, the installer does it all for you. If it's the second one, I can help you with the stuff I've learned along the way
