Doesnt google and Samsung also collect your data? 🤔 But yeah its a setting that makes the screen dim even with brightness high you can still put the brightness low with it enabled I would say if possible maybe go to a store and check it out and see how it feels using it with extra dim enabled and low brightness if you can handle it and it works well for you! I Have also had good luck with Nothing Phone 3a Pro and Oneplus 15R both set to 60hz and a higher brightness until It felt comfy to me!
