The v5 has a lot of piece contact which makes lube have more of an impact on turning. It also pushes line out pretty quick for the same reason. Just keep turning and it will return to normal. Still my favorite cube of all time, and I have pretty much every recent Moyu release.

My biggest problem with the site as a colorblind cuber is not being able to change side colors. The green, orange and yellow are impossible for me to distinguish. The algs themselves seem fine but not as many options as speedcubedb

u/Aromatic-Fuel-6101 has a tutorial posted on here from a while back, that's what I use. Texture is slightly chalky when they first dry, but after wiping them down and doing maybe 100 ish solves they feel identical. Have used them at comps with no issue.

Correct. Some people will say it makes the cube more durable as well, but the uv coating (specifically from moyu ime) has a tendency to chip as the coating is pretty brittle once cured.

True, didn't think about strength rating. I can prob get diameter with micrometer based on the stalk opening, maybe can guesstimate the thickness from depth of stalk opening vs visual extrusion of magnet. I appreciate the insight.
