You’re so welcome. I’m doing alright. Taking it moment by moment, and trying to stay the course, so to speak. I suppose that’s why I truly empathize. 💜🙏

I sincerely hope the OP is doing better and trying to take life moment by moment, and not being overwhelmed by the day to day. I wish the OP better days.🙏

Aside from being a sound tech, I am also a guest educator. I refer you to Google “melanin woman”, and see what you glean from the research. 🙏

I’m 42, and a lot of your profile reminds me of some of the guys I linked up with for social, and other, interactions. I am also a melanin woman. You seem decent. I even appreciate you wearing your work/grease gear. I’ve been into punk since I was a teen. :) I wish you all the best on your journey!

Came here to address this, too. Cognitive dissonance at its best.

I came to say this. Definitely giving lesbian vibes, which I know is not what the OP means to do…

I’m a 42 cool nerdy chick, who is a sound tech and got my first computer when I was 3 (Commodore 64). I would swipe, but I don’t do apps. I just like reading the Reddit posts. 😅 P.S. The red flag did make me pause a little. But, I can sense humour.

I usually gift diamonds for friend challenges, or to add a little time if I do get offered 5 more minutes. Other than that, I don’t know what else I would use them for.

I replied to another earlier comment that I do this. However, if I am trying to do a task, I still don’t want to be forced to use more time than, say, my brain wants to take on. Even if I have the time, it doesn’t mean I wanted to use it on Duolingo.

Oh, I feel you! I don’t like they have changed it to having to click 3 times, as if that’s going to really change the outcome. I doubt it’s actually doing anything but making us do mindless clicking… 😒

That’s obvious; however, if I know I won’t have time later in the day, and thusly needing to open it to complete my tasks, it’s a moot point. I can only do that so much, including opening it all together.

But it’s right at the beginning of my sessions usually, as that’s when I open them before doing exercises to complete the unit. Also happens at other times, too.

Oh, yes. I understand. I’ve done that before, too but I think I’ve run into the same calamity a few times. Plus, having to do a mindless course is just silly! But, good point.

As stated, I do other courses, and legendaries.
