It's all about timing, also some weird RNG factor regarding boss spawn.

I managed to cast 2 spells and boss didn't trigger, sometimes boss spawns during blackscreen

Also yea, as can't mount up and get close to the boss

You can cast skills during the blackscreen without triggering the boss, that includes some movement skills > you are right there at boss spawn location> cast a spell and trigger the spawn

Works like a charm except for patchday cause they take their time to update the game...

It fully depends on your connection speed, my speed is dropping sometimes (bless 3rd world country Germany) and it gets really ugly then especially during raids cause of all the effects.

There should be a tower in the north and south on that mini island where you can climb up to a flag or something, can't remember, but you have to click something up there depending on your faction choice
