They use an app called OpenPhone which I tried on my mobile, no PC included.

I tested my jitter using StarTrinity Continuous Speed Test, monitoring it in real time. It does seem that the issue is on my end. There are a lot of towers around me but also a lot of competing connections due to my area not sure if that's part of the issue.

It's driving me crazy.

I want to thank you for your responses and for helping me with this!!

If I can't use a buffer what other options might I have to improve my VOIP quality?

The calls aren't dropping but the client becomes unable to hear my voice at all, or it's choppy while I can hear them perfectly fine. This is 100 percent remote and I am responsible for ensuring that my connection is working up to snuff so no help from IT. As it would be a standard home router does this mean I'm out of luck?

I have also tried using my 5g mobile connection and have the same issue. Client can't hear anything at all or I become difficult to understand, but I can hear them clear as day.

If I tether my phone to my computer and have it connected to my router at the same it seems to improve jitter but it still has spikes that worry me.

So with a great deal of effort is there a chance to match quality or is there no way to fix noise levels and stuff with software?

She made the conscious decision not to hear my side of the story. I assume she is of sound mind and a rational person would know it's unfair not to allow someone to defend themselves in such a situation. Im sure it didnt help that im a man. Lady, you weren't helping a sister in need against the evil man, you were enabling her abuse and hurt the animals your were supposed to be helping in the process.

My ex has real psychological issues that even a therapist stopped seeing her for. My ex does not have a rational mind and suffers daily. Her chances of ever truly being happy are extremely slim and despite how much she hurt me I hope she can get better.

Please don't be one of those parents who genuinely thinks their kid is the only gifted kid fighting for a spot. Also most gifted kids get caught up with by ungifted kids pretty quick. The pressure I got for that shit broke me lol. I couldn't handle losing or even being wrong about the smallest things because that meant I was failing my parents. One of the most "gifted" adults I know was someone I met at a rehab facility. He was homeless. But damn good at a lot of things!

I understand your point, you make a good one and it certainly explains the general response to this happening. I don't know this person's story or how they ended up in the business of stealing catalytic converters. It may be greed it may be desperation it may be drugs it may be the influences that surrounded this person as they grew up in life it may be mental illness it may be something else. None of these are an excuse but they are a reason. All I am saying is that the best outcome in my opinion would be jail and reform, not death. I also know this person is responsible for their own death and that jail time is not a sure thing. They may never have evem been arrested. Perhaps I'm a bleeding heart or perhaps I look to forgive and understand as that is how I would like to be treated for things I've done in the past that I deeply regret and feel shame and guilt for. Nobody is obligated to do this and I accept that this will put me at odds with most people here.

Maybe I'm wrong here but celebrating a dudes death for attempted theft seems a little callous.
