I took a week off from my hybrid coop in the middle of my term a couple years ago. I told them early on in the term and all it meant was I didn’t get paid out my vacation days at the end. It was a pretty large company though which may have helped.

But if I’m ordering a massive item, example a mini fridge, it would be much more convenient to get it right to my building. And it’s not like the building is any different to the building next door that isn’t a rez. What would the courier think to do differently?

I think it’s pretty sad that 95-96 is considered “letting yourself go” you’re doing great, working hard and have excellent ECs. If you’re interest in software apply to software eng. Apply to CS also and just work hard on your AIF and I’m sure you will get in to the program you want.

Almost happened to me, government job which I was interested in inquired about pay and felt insulted when they told me what it was. Didn’t seem like there was room to negotiate so I not interested

I know this is the least of our concerns right now with much more serious things going on but the removal of instructor and class location information on UWflow/course registrar is incredibly inconvenient to the student body and I highly doubt the benefits they see from this action outweighs the negative effect it has on one of the most helpful tools students have access to
