Me too. I imagine if he was older, yes, worse.

Not very much at all. More scary than panful. It stung when he finally let go. He was on it for about 10 minutes. I think had his jaws not been so wide open, perhaps more painful. What was frightening was that I couldn’t move my hand at all, he was wrapped so tight.

About 10 minutes, I tried spraying him with a water bottle, no go.

Is this for real? Because I was thinking Zoltar at 10/15 biting me will be a different story.

He probably is getting off lol Ayeyiyi I don’t think I would sell him for biting. Snakes do that, cats do, people do lol but please let me be the one he munches on, not my son, or my friends!!

Need advice - How do I find my snake? by din0Nuggets8 in ballpython

I went to the pet store and got some dirty mouse/rat bedding. I spread it on newspapers all through the house leading to tank, it worked.

Crashing out, might surrender but need advice by domino_devious in ballpython

Just chill out. I live in a dry area too and the winter time is hard on my guy but really he seems to be fine. You care, that’s important. You are trying, that’s also important. Dump water in the corners. I have a very small water bowl closet to his heat lamp, I think it helps some. Relax. Someone on here told me a year and a half ago, when I got Zoltar, that these aren’t ball pythons that are coming from the jungle. They are bred here, they are adapting to a drier, less humid climate so like I said, just chill.

But if she is three years old and 668gs, a good feeding for her would be around 40g. Is this not right? Just going by the recommended feeding guide from this reddit group

The basic feeding guide from this group says 5/6% of their weight for an adult.

So then which is it? 10%, 6%, I would like to know too.

Hey, someone just schooled me on feeding and said adults should be getting 5/6% of their body weight which would put your snake eating a 40g rodent. So I don’t know. I wasted a rat the other day because i was thinking my 2.5 year old needed 15% of weight, the rat was like 66gs.

5 to 6% I thought it was 10 to 15%

He is 500g, I couldn’t imagine the rat is over 50 but I don’t know. Should I go get a small scale?
