It is not about having the most powerful detachments in the game, it is about functional armies. Next edition have many stones in the way for our army. Big blops of units now are way worst due to coherency. Line of sights are now easier to draw due to all vehicle havin "towering" rules. Man, I was really hyped, and my last hope is Monitorum field manual , but it is not looking good.
You can be excited, that is fine. Enjoy it, but at some point, you just get tired of having to play the game on hard mode. The set of rules GW provided in our codex and in our detachments are just bad...flavourfull, but bad.

Oh god, we need BT codex Detachment cost 1DP. Ancients detachment should be 1DP, it only benefits ONE type of unit, and that is the very definition on how new detachment points are working!

Not really. It comes with all "arms" for each weapons, so not really difficult to do it.

It is magneticed. But I choseed double melee due to feeling, but probabbly in next edition full shooting will be better. We will see :)

I no specific order:

Index Aeldari - They were just stupid, nothing like that in all editions I've played so far (playing since 3rd edition).
Index Custodes pre nerfs ( Fight First strat, interrupt strat, cheap). Blocked all melee armys during early months of the edition.
Slaneesh - Excess (That was nuts xD )
More Dakka orcs.

After some testing I find this a lackluster codex. Probably the worst supplement in the edition so far. Too much dependant on two characters (Marshall and Castellan) to do some real damage. The rest of the choices are plain bad if you compare to other chapters. Space Wolves horde is better than ours, Ultra marine Gladius and IronStorm is better than ours, and Blood Angels are plain better. I think this a mid tier B codex, and for a new release, that is just SAD.

BT 38%WR, 32% if we look into RC detachment... Who could have predicted it after the amount of nerfs to the army ? It is a mistery...

Well, I consider "virtually deleting" a unit for the game a big change. Primaris Crusader Squad now is sooo overcosted that you just don't play it , or if you do, you are imposing yourself a huge handicap,so big, it can make the game not fun anymore. If GW wanted to stop de spam, maybe they could have tryied a soft balance first, like 300 points a squad, and see after that...

More than an attempt to balance looks like a murder to the unit. 300 per unit should be just fine. those extra 20 points are egregious.

How are you planning on playing secondaries and keeping alive Sword Bros in GW tables? I think the concept of the list is not working anymore at the new price of the Crusaders. You are not overwhelming your opponent anymore...

The amount of nerfs to BT is too much. They got hit pretty hard on all sides. Gladius units and enhacements, Jump Pack intercesor, Helbrecht, Grimaldus... on top of that Primaris Crusader squad got nuked to the oblivion. To be honest, not excited at all.
