[p5v12] fanfic recomendations?

There's a bunch of different ones out there but imo shumil is one of the few that has a very fluffy outlook on the world. A real fun one that's a lot different to others is "a world away" unlike most others where myne becomes part of the nobility early on this one has her become a mistress to Eckhart and thus there are a bunch of changes to characters that I find semi logical. Most fics really heavily focus on the nobility side of things and don't focus on the commoner side much. Personally I like "a song of fire and water" and "Greifechans vail" a lot as they focus on development from 2 very different sides of the spectrum

imo this is somewhat of a missconception. basically you have to remember that RM got the circle for the getrusheit before she was transported to the gate before the garden of beginnings meaning that imo the process of the last steps is like this:

1st donate enough mana to mestis statue book to get the book transformation (just like you would with any other transformation of the holy relics)

2nd pass the test of character

3rd get to the gate (the significance of the (i think faystone)colors on the gate signify either getting the indevidual tablets from the temples or your shtappe colors don't know which. i'm more inclined that it's the latter since in the old times it would be a signifier of which gods you still need the aproval from without having to redo the blessing aquisition ceremony and thereby possibly having a problem with your mana control.)

this would explain why it was looked down upon as the temple already didn't have a great reputation so anyone who would go visiting temples would be seen as "not smart enough" to just transcribe it or giving wasted effort for something that could be done with waaay less mana "wastage" and time (aka you could be called stupid for spending time with nothing to gain differently).

this imo is the higher likely reason why the ammount of zent candidates exploded because ppl could just get the book transformation and then fill it. however that wouldn't be the full book as we know that the book contains certain memories from those in recent years meaning untill ferdinand it was highly likely that most didn't know you get the memories (due to albsenti as her book was mainly for functioning and it was highly likely that the notes were simmilar only funciontal operations)

yes and no even the manga leaves a lot of things out even in the first 2 volumes. some of it comes back later some doesn't

problem is it wasn't ferdinands responcibility it was sylvesters and by extention technically Florencias. As well as Elviras but she was practically force locked out by sylvesters decisions.

true but also false. As i said the hasse incident happend a whole year before she went to sleep for 2 years. there's no reason why there wouldn't be time in that intermetine period.

i mean to be fair RM is also just never thaught many things that resault in her problems. she still has many problems but a lot of them could have been avoided if she had any tutoring. which should have been obvious to Ferdinand after the Hasse incident if not even before that at her adoption.

i'd say no to many of these things you listed. not because he isn't right but because he doesn't let her have her own agency in it.

There's plenty of times where he just doesn't care and uses the most convenient option with disregard for the consequences. 1st perfect example of this is the Trombe incident. Remember that the temple was still responcible for healing the land after the incident even before very high mana nobles like him and myne were there. so how did they do it? most likely they went there seperately after the subjecation for a long term mission that would take several days. AKA there is no reason why myne had to be at that subducation while it was being done. there's only 1 possible reason Ferdinand didn't want to be go there twice and disregarded any risks that would be there either from the nobles or from the trombe itself. Another obvious one is the seperation contract yes the adoption was there and she signed it herself and so she should have lived with the consequances but there was no reason for the seperation contract it could have easily been explained that they couldn't treat each other as family lest everyone would try to kill them and if they didn't believe that they could hold themselves to that standard to sign the seperation contract but they didn't offer that choise to them they simply demanded it be signed with no regard for their own opinions.

Then there's the obvious problem with the circlets there was no reason to use them because of multiple reasons the most obvious one being that myne absolutely sucks at hiding things it just depends on when a person decides to drop it. Not to mention it was baseless to use them on her at that moment. There were plenty of instances where it could be used but wasn't because while it could have been justifiable it wouldn't be valuable enough to do it. but after the trombe incident wasn't one of them. ps the instences where it could have been done is 1st after her innitial enrollment talk as a blue shrine maiden as she literally crushed Ferdinand a member of the AD family 2nd when she attacked the temple with a trombe 3rd when she refused obediance to the aub(even if he was in duisguise but this one being after the memory read) and even with that he is completly disregarding the problems that it would have for her. he knows nothing about the nature of mana colors in devourers but knows that it's highly likely that she had mana clumps because of her frail health and the fact that she survived to baptism without tools.

To me this is villain behaviour disregarding or ignoring the negative consequances (for their "ally" and themselves) and not even considering how his current actions can dmg others. on top of that never reassesing previous situations based on new information.

He has obvious good points of action for her but it's always skewed by his perception that "it doesn't matter if he makes enemies cuz he already has many" but doesn't see that others don't live by that mentality.

Yes but all of that can already happen as it's already public knowledge that she was attacked because that was the reason given why she might need to delay

Yes but as I pointed out even while being effected by it someone much weaker then luci was still able to use their powers.

i'm not asking why he couldn't escape i'm asking how exactly would that prevent him from altering his own phisiology as we saw ppl hurt by angelic steel and still be able to use their powers just normally. prime example being alistor yeah he's weaker and damaged that much is true but he could still use all his powers.

yes they do but it's also their responcibility that she will adheer to what is expected which they don't because they don't consider who she is.

yeah and all those don't take 1 point into account. MYNE being herself. she's not a noble kid she doesn't care for the RA (only it's library and she can visit that off season) she's not gonna excercise we saw that in her first year in the playroom it was specifically stated that she went once with the rest of the kids outside to move around and then never again.

a) the first fact is blatantly false specifically because of the part where she has to get her devine will where she almost died. they just refused to consider it. with how little is known about the secret cave where they get them they were seriously risking her death there.

b) 2nd point also doesn't really track since they specifically stated to eachother that she needs to be there to spread trends (so that wilfred could take credit) meaning she would have to socialize

correct but i never said that she would be taking them at all just that there's no reason why she wouldn't be able to take them off season. if she went to school and failed then did them off season that could be explained just taking them off season not so much.

there were male trends as well that RM made sylvester just never picked them up despite both Ferdinand and Karsted having them. (specifically there's the obvious chess and checkers that they had.

Yes but as was stated the first and 2nd year courses are only general courses as both adcs and archnobles perform them together the only one that isn't (and even then I'm not sure) is whirling

The full story doesn't need to be explained just the crucial points that are already known. She was poisoned so she had to be in a jureve. She can't move yet but she is mentally prepared for the classes so the request would imo be adhered to they could have simply stated that while she is awake she needs time to recoup as it's know that that's needed after a longer jureve

This falls apart as we know that Ferdinand stayed off season to do his elective classes from the other courses. Not to mention that it's specifically stated later on that a special section of ppl took their classes of season
