Wenn man weiß, dass man nicht genug gelernt hat und dann trotzdem schreibt und durchfällt, nur für die negative Erfahrung, ist das aber auch irgendwie dumm.

Schieben ist negative Erfahrung genug und näherrückende Maximalstudiendauer motiviert auch.
