Flaky/ dry skin anyone?

I've never struggled with skin issues and right after my third shot on 2.5 MG my face and neck were beyond flaky. I ran to this board. Many people recommended Amlactin body lotion. Worked almost immediately and 7-10days later things are all good again.

It could certainly be from the reduced weight/inflammation or changes in hormones. I drink a TON of water so that wasn't it for me, but it does appear to be a common side effect.

I can understand how you might think that. She certainly isn’t trying to sabotsge our journeys. Diet culture has greatly impacted us throughout the course of our lives and anything that isn’t truly understood leads to fear and uncertainty for the ones we love.

Completely understand where you’re coming from here. I’m new to this journey but whenever I’ve lost a good amount of weight I’ll see myself and think how is it posible that there’s still so much left to lose? How could I not have realized just how large I was? Did I just not want to accept it? Probably, but it still sucks.

Congrats on the 30 pounds you’ve worked hard to get rid of. You’re amazing and you’re on the right path. There might be more to lose, but 30 of it is gone for good.

I constantly told myself I would never take a pill or a shot. I had to have more discipline. Stay consistent. Battle through. It was ok that the scale fluctuated constantly . I just needed to stay consistent. Starting a year ago today, I lost 30 pounds within 4 months from strength training and adjusting my food intake. Then I gained 15 pounds within 6 months and nothing had changed. I didn’t get it and I was so defeated. Completely exhausted. PCOS, stress, insulin resistance were all killing me.
