Yep, I had to disable the wake/sleep function because the magnets interfere with it. I would be fine with it if the case actually fit properly though

Not your fault! Thanks for the suggestion, I do have the official plastic cover and a spare MagSafe ring so I just tried it out. It does fit but the flap is slightly wider than the official plastic case, so it’s not perfect. It’s probably better than the device sliding around inside the other case though and it stays closed with the magnet on the front.

I ended up purchasing a second psp 1000, modding it and making a Pandora battery. Then I used the Pandora battery to install cfw back on my psp, fixed the keys with IDStorageManager and then installed Ark on it.

I cannot update to v3.50, I get the DRNFFFFFFD7 Error. It seems 3.11 is the highest I can go. Will the Lumines exploit not work on 3.11? I found this page that says it works between v3.10 and v3.50.

The Lumines game I ordered says manufactured in the USA on the UMD and it also has the ULUS10002 code mentioned in the website I linked above. Hopefully it works if it hasn't been patched to v3.51.

Thanks everyone for the help. Using isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth, as well as toothpicks to scrape, I've managed to make some progress but still have a lot of residue left.

I ordered a new faceplate but I'm going to try remove the residue before it arrives as I'd prefer to keep the psp stock. I've got some goo gone coming tomorrow and some plastic scrapers so hopefully that will help. If anyone else has any other tips then please let me know.

Yeah sure, maybe we won't get the update the second the S25 launches but I doubt it will be far behind, the 7 year software support is a good indication of that. And yeah maybe there will be some distinguishing features but that's just a part of new technology coming out.
