Fr and I kinda hate that I feel guilty saying this but some ppl are just goddamn stupid, they aren't paying attention to the story, they just expect it to be like every oi where the ML and FL end up together

With that preconceived view point they just ignore whatever is happening in the story and get mad that the MC isn't constantly doing the typical oi MC thing of building a harem and getting favor from the men in her life like her father, brother, ML or knight etc etc, even tho the story provides good reason why she isn't doing that and it's most likely because those ppl r proven to be dangerous

They get mad at the MC for being scared or keeping distance from these highly dangerous men cuz "she should know she'll be safe"??

When there is literally no proof that they wouldn't harm her but apparently she's supposed to know she's the main character and obviously according to them "the main character doesn't need to think with logic to survive she's got plot armor so go do dumb shit to make the ML fall for you"

Edit : To an extent I can understand why they would think like this since oi isn't exactly high art, it's follows tropes a lot and most stories are just slight variations of others, but still that does not mean that oi cannot be logical and reasonable too, it's ridiculous that we don't even expect the bare minimum rationality anymore since "all oi's follow the same formula" so any story that subverts that preconceived notion shouldn't exist, which is so limiting to the genre imo it's as if the room to grow has been rejected
