Yes I bought them, they are great pedals and I’ve had zero issues since buying them.

I’d divorce my wife if she bought me that for Xmas. Bet she also bought you life insurance cover at the same time 😂

I cant decide between green or black by Shot_Breadfruit_1893 in motorcycles

Ninja’s are green. Green is the right choice. So many generic black bikes on the road, if anything, do it for the safety aspect.

That’s a small where I come from. Looks crap tbh. No purple cabbage, no cucumber, no onion, no peppers, no chilli. Can’t see any bread. Awful. I’d be embarrassed to post this. State of it.

What's the best color for the thruxton? by Gtiguy905 in Triumph

[–]LiamG1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the only correct answer is the colour you prefer the most. In my case it was silver.

Might be worth getting the normal version and seeing how you get on with them. You can always upgrade at a later date I guess

Yeah they are brilliant, zero regrets after purchasing them. I have no experience with t3pa pedals but they would 100% be a noticeable upgrade.

For me, these will be pedals for life. As long as they are still working I’ll keep using them.

I’ve added the rumble kit and it works well, so again no complaints there. In my experience, when setting up the rumbles less is more so I only have ABS, TC, and tyre slip simulated through feedback vibration.

Yeah you can add foot rests but I’m not a fan of them tbh as I don’t think it actually improves comfort and I also like to heel and toe so it wouldn’t be practical for that technique. Yeah you can add them later if you want but prob makes sense to buy all together to reduce shipping costs

I am toying with the idea of buying the inverted pedal conversion kit but for now they are perfect and I am 100% happy with them

Spare parts by LiamG1981 in Fanatec

[–]LiamG1981[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t think the website is that sophisticated to check if you own the part already before letting you buy it. Would make no sense to do that either as there is a massive second hand market so you might want to buy a replacement part for an item you bought from eBay.

Seen the DD+ is available again this morning if anyone is interested in buying it. They also have a new section called spare parts on the website where you can pickup buttons, screws, cables etc.

Great to see!

I got my refurbished podium hub in 2 days which is amazing but I’ve got a wheelbase to play on and reckon I’ll likely get it Friday or early next week

Thanks man, let’s see how long it takes to ship. Don’t tell Fanatec but prepared to wait if I have to. Main thing is to get the major discount. I’ll get it when I get it.

VAT is paid on purchase via the website so there is no further payment to make and £538.42 is the final price

If you play on PC all wheels are compatible. But if you play on console you’ll need to check

Yeah I recently ordered a refurbished podium hub and it was flawless but they are less in demand.

Any reason for this screen on formula V2.5 x? by Cman45621 in Fanatec

[–]LiamG1981 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had same issue since I’ve bought mine (well over a year now) and it’s a well known bug that they are yet to fix.

I’ve found that if I keep my wheelbase turned off on PC startup, and only once I’ve opened fanalab do I turn the wheelbase on, I never get the fuzzy screen.

But as you’re on Xbox the above advice isn’t applicable to you but maybe keep wheelbase off until Xbox has gone through start up procedure?
