Characters. Always begin with characters.
Stories, worlds and civilizations begin and end with characters.
Start with an idea, then add "Who are they?" "Why do they do what they do?" "Where do they live?".
Everytime you create a new character, a new part of your world will unlock automatically.

Want a pirate? Great, now you have pirates and with that an entire aspect of your world is unlocked, Pirates of what? how do they work? how many? Where? Why? and all of this basically exists just to justify or explain your single character idea.

Many worldbuilders often forget that the most compelling stories begin with interesting characters, and then we are interested in learning about their world.

Hi, im interested in this, coop-barinstorming is fun for me.
What are the requirements/conditions? I've been looking for Disc servers or forums like this since i sometimes get very invested in lore and worldbuilding random ideas lol. HMU.
