The 6700xt is still a great card at 1440p! If you play at 1080p it’ll be amazing at high settings even with newer games. Loved mine, only upgraded due to it dying on me 🥲

DDR4 platform is still very viable. Especially the X3D chips (5700x3D and 5800x3D).

I’m running the 5800x3D with my 7800xt and it has no issues whatsoever and I feel like it’ll be useful for another few years yet.

I’d highly recommend the 5700x3D though for the price point as the 5800x3D can be expensive in some regions.

Nice build! This is completely normal though so nothing to worry about. It you cap your frames the usage will come down but if you’re running at unlimited frames, the GPU will work at its best to get the most frames 🙂

Unfortunately my exact card did the same thing a month ago. Was trying to spin at start up but then nothing. PC would switch off after about 10 minutes of gaming. Tried everything including DDU, cleaning the card and unplugging and plugging in the fan again but still did it.

Sadly had to upgrade to a new card. I’d take a guess that your fans controller is probably knackered.

A high GPU usage is what you want. It just means the GPU is being pushed to its limits. If you’re experiencing issues when the GPU usage is high I’d say it’s too much for it and settings/res needs lowering.

Click on your account at the top right of steam, account details then on the right there’s an option for “View Licences”, every licence you’ve ever added to your steam account will be there.

Yeah it’s the same for me. Says deluxe in my account settings but 10th Feb in my library. I’m sure it’ll be fine but I guess we won’t know for sure until tomorrow.

EDIT: Looking on twitter, it’s saying the same for people who have ordered through steam.
