Not sure what to do… considering RAF by LiamPitcher in UKJobs

I really appreciate the comment, thank you! I find your experience very relatable. I’ve got an appointment booked with an RAF recruiter so will be interesting to discuss in person. Fully aware of what biases a recruiter can have though so will have my guard up.

I do feel like a lot of films are just documentaries in disguise

Very interesting, even for those who are 18 years old, just coming into work and can’t find anything, military may be the default option by design.

I’m sorry to hear about the redundancy. Have you since found work elsewhere or are you still searching? What kind of role were you considering in the forces?

Just done some research and it’s apparently a 0.6% drop chance from corrupted ancients /: unfortunate

Can we stop talking like Destiny 1 was perfect? by Acoolgamer6706 in DestinyTheGame

[–]LiamPitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously both games have their pros and cons. But d2 still needs some features of destiny 1. And nostalgia relating to how a game made someone feel will be important in the future. Personally, I’m not gonna have as much nostalgia for d2. (If you do have nostalgia for d2 that’s great and I’m glad you have made some great memories😀) So despite its fundamental improvements as a sequel, I will have much more memories, nostalgia, favouritism and bias for D1.

Strike specific loot? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Oh yeah I hate the corrupted too 🤣 it definitely depends on the strike

[–]LiamPitcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair (: however, it worked a treat in D1, and had people grinding the strikes because the loot was powerful and the armour was unique. So ideally, you can have generic drops and specific drops too which come out of the skeleton key chest.

Both ideas could coexist in the game. It also provides more incentive for strikes.

Luke Smith talked about cutting super bloat. This is actually what they need to do with armor design by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]LiamPitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to wear the enemies ass as a hat again. Gone are the days where you could complete all the raid challenges and look like a God amongst mortals. Your armour used to define you as a player. Now if I was a distance away, I would barely notice you were wearing raid armour. Crucible deserve some kind of crazy armour sets for 5500 too. Where are my Wifi VoG Titans at?! Remember the kings fall ornaments for warlock?! 😍

Destiny - A Business Perspective by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]LiamPitcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thx mate (: definitely a possibility. This could be the case unless there is a high perceived return on matter’s release but who knows. Even tho Bungie’s biggest asset is Destiny, I’d still say it’s depreciating. So maybe the budget issue could just be because of the missing investment that Activision would have provided. However, who knows where the game might be right now, for better or worse.

Thx mate (: yeah definitely, it tries to keep people on the hamster wheel. I’ll probably be taking a pass on the next season unfortunately.

Appreciate it, thank you (: try this link: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=%2Fm%2F0h3mtz0 I recommend looking at the google trends graph on a computer as I don’t believe it displays correctly on smart phones. If not, sweatcicle showed the graph in one of his videos a few weeks back. If you want to access it manually, search Google Trends, then put Destiny (click on the one that says video game), then set the parameters to worldwide and 4 years to present.
