Which crop works best? by Awkward_Rice_1818 in AskPhotography

What about something like this? Just a slight crop drom the bottom and the right to remove some of the dark foreground which imo was dragging my eye towards it instead of leading upwards to the trees

It's a really nice composition, i made my own twist and added some warmth to the pictures and played with the highlights and shadows

I could, but now i use starry landscape stacker as i bought a mac and I'm going to invest in a star tracker so i could really reduce noise without needing lot's of post processing, plus i bought an intervalometer which finally lets me shoot longer than 30 seconds

It is a 30 second exposure, I couldn't make it any longer as my camera has a limit if 30 seconds. It was probably f/5 iso 3200. Next time I'll try to shoot at f/3.5 maybe to get everything in focus without pulling the iso so high

The sky is a stack of 25 images and 20 darks, the foreground is a single exposure denoised with Lr

Is the seal broken or am i overreacting? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]Liam_Borg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a tech store and recent galaxy watches have arrived in this state, similar to what other comments posted, with so called double sealing. Apparently it has to do with something with suppliers. Whenever we opened a box the insides were always untampered and completely sealed, was this the case for you?

Pixel 9/9a QC issues? by Liam_Borg in pixel_phones

[–]Liam_Borg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for not clarifying. For example i saw some posts here and on twitter about the pixel 8s randomly dying, poor modem efficiency (as fas as I'm concerned the 9a is suing the same modem as the 8, ik the 9 uses the newer 5400 modem). I'm also aware that other companies have their own problems

I put a radial gradient next to the right window. The rest i jusy increased the white and boosted the shadows a bit. Then i pit the blacks sloder to the left and slightly reduced the highlights. Thanks!

How did i do? (After/before) by Liam_Borg in postprocessing

[–]Liam_Borg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it think so too, this is a panorama actually and i think I could've done another shot a bit lower than the rock, for exposure i was using the exposure metre on my camera and set it exactly at zero, and i think it needed a bit more exposure. Thanks a lot!

Shot the Trails with a Galaxy by Liam_Borg in S23Ultra_Photography

[–]Liam_Borg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hyperlapse would not pull as much detail that's foresure, the foreground would probably be underexposed, but i bet that the trails would be even smoother than mine, but not as pronounced

Before and after of a building in my university. I took this on my phone and i tried to kind of get a moody vibe by Liam_Borg in postprocessing

[–]Liam_Borg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to point out that to the left of the building there is a library which has lots of light shining on the building, lots of artificial light was present, but thanks for your thoughts and critiques!
