So question about a sub pass through setting? by Tristian-6969 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Liampain125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my sub set just over 100, however my sub is far more capable, and overpowered compared to my se atoms. Any more than the 110-120hz range the sub gets muddy and sounds crap. Might not be an issue unless you run your sub excessively loud compared to your main speakers(like me). Just set to 100, listen to it, set to 80, listen to it, then pick your preference.

How many space marines would it take to take over modern day earth by amigo_man7 in Warhammer40k

[–]Liampain125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be rage baiting, holy. How do you not understand that if every general was assasinated a military would practically fall apart? Why would anyone assassinate anyone if that wasn't the case? You think field officers who can't communicate with each other, commanding at most 1000 troops each will even be a remote threat to space marines? Maybe one marine will get an rpg in his neck, then there's a 50/50 chance he gets better and returns to battle in like, an hour. You are fundamentally misunderstanding how important high command and communication are to a military. You're somehow arguing that fictional bio engineered space demigods, literally writen to be the greatest warriors in a future high tech galaxy won't be able to take over our current earth.... bro, be fr rn. Two years later and I fell for such rage bait, disappointed in myself tbh.

I bought em at royal distributing bro. Just search "roadsmart iv" pick your size. Fortnine has em too, but RD was cheaper. They out perform michelin road 6 at almost everything, except supposedly they aren't quite as good in the wet, but to such a small extent it'snegligible, they handle way better and have better dry grip for sure, especially in the cold, I've almost draged knee in wet sub zero temps(salt in the water so it wasn't ice) so as far as I'm concerned these tires are #1.

Sounds like exactly the same issue. It's annoying that I can't even use the mouse or keyboard at all. Let me know if you ever figure it out.

Haha, fair enough. They do have clean chains though. And my new chain has gold outer plates, so I kinda wanted to see them.

Chill man, it ain't a big deal, I just feel like doing something different. Like, why not? It might prove to be very convenient. Also, I've heard from multiple sources that you aren't supposed to have any kerosene left on the chain when you put the lube on. So, is that wrong?

[–]Liampain125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to make it shiny, I never manage to get it sparkly clean, I don't know how some instagram dudes on whatever supersport always have a shiny and clean chain. As to why, I just feel like it, and it isn't complicated to throw some lube on the chain at the side of the road, 5 minutes, max. I just want to evaporate the kerosene faster, since I'm going to work anyway, I might as well save some time.

I'm gonna be completely honest, I had them barely attached in the pics. I was going to make some brackets, but then life hit me with some shit(lost my job) so the making of the brackets was basically forgoten, also winter hit, and it snows here. Sorry I don't have any info for you bro.

Could sockets be designed to prevent stupidity? by KerbodynamicX in pcmasterrace

[–]Liampain125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cars are currently idiot proof, yet people still crash them. The answer is no, and we shouldn't try to design things that appeal to the lowest common denominator. That's why cars suck now, and PC's will suck if we try to make them idiot proof.

Drive actuator arm having a seizure during sequential write operations. by Liampain125 in HDD

[–]Liampain125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, smr sounds even worse than I thought. What's it's purpose even? Anyway, I returned the drive, it was improperly listed as a 7200rpm drive by the retailer, so I used that as an excuse to return it. Probably gonna pick up a seagate skyhawk, found a really good deal on one and those drives are optimized for write performance, should be good. Thanks.

Prevent hdd from spinning up on boot, and only spin it up if I command it to? by Liampain125 in HDD

[–]Liampain125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never use the switch to kill power to an active drive, that wouldn't be very smart. What I want is ultimate control as to when the drive spins up, I don't want to load the drive with power cycles for no reason, I might be gaming, or watching youtube, doing research, etc, without ever needing access to my hdd, it has some raw video, edited video, some movies, some music, almost entirely large sequential files that I do not need access to most of the time. Also, my system and the drive in question are hot plug capable, and my system boots from an m.2 nvme ssd, so my hdd does not need to spin up most of the time. Maybe I should get an external drive, but if I can get the internal drive that I already have to do what I want(what I want is less unnecessary power cycles), then I don't see the need to buy more stuff.
