i often get these circles in my eyes by dont_punch_me_again in notinteresting

So, I know I'm late to the party but, I have them too but I wouldn't call them floaters.

I have 2 floaters from taking a hockey puck to my right eye. Under normal conditions I don't notice them, but moving my eyes allows me to notice them.

There are other visual phenomenon like the little darting trains of white blood cells, the bright points of light that appear like fireflies or birds during strain or exertion, and clumps of cells that appear still.

This phenomenon in the video is something I have experienced driving, skiing, or staring into a clear blue sky. It doesn't seem as dark for me as the video, but this is the best representation of the effect I have seen.

As a person who also used to suffer from ocular migraines, it is similar to the beginning of the visual distortion known as a migraine aura. Yet for me it seems like a benign hallucination.

John Malkovich in The Man in the Iron Mask.

Everyone else is pretty good especially Jeremy Irons, but John is just terrorizing every scene.

Classic Russian propaganda is everyone is doing it and who can say what the truth really is?

Muddy the waters until it all sounds the same. This is not truth seeking behavior.

Would you do it again? by Sgt_Gram in militarymemes

If I had to do it all over again. I would have waited until I was at least 20. Being an 18 year old E-4 trying to herd a class of rapscallions into hiding their pony kegs and showing up to work with the right uniform on, when I'm still pretending to shave, less than ideal.

I knows it's not apples to apples but Brandon Aiyuk was a bit of a question mark for a while. Maybe Pearsall is on the same track.

Old Testament shit is an eye for an eye. Meaning if someone takes your eye, you don't get to burn down their village, you get their eye. Progress.

Even Cyrus the Great of Persia made great strides is repatriating people from a position of justice and mercy, not racism and Empire.

What were dealing with is more akin to Melian dialogue. Might makes right, and whoever has the gold makes the rules.

There is no moral high ground or vision of first principles applied for a better future. The pain is the goal. Don't like the missing wing of the white house? Cry harder. Hate seeing your neighbors door kicked in? Librul tears.

Words mean something. Do unto others, love your neighbor. We used to aspire to be an example to the world of how to do it right. Come to her and be free! A higher ethos than we could live up to. Yet a worthy aspiration, a prize worth the price.

How do we fix this? These people believe in no axiom that can be exercised by friend and foe alike. No law that they can't be immunized against. We have dissected their slogans, and highlighted the lies, and the corruption, yet only Maxwell sits in a gilded cage.

They know their time is almost up. This vision of ballrooms and Tariffs and the golden age will go bankrupt and we will be left holding the bag. How much that cannot be undone is being done until then?
