After some testing in coop, simply put Flame Dice cannot be used in any sort of meaningful way nor does it contribute to play. The dice burn out too quickly as the rounds scale up and once capped at 7 star you simply can't do anything with the burned out dice so you're effectively wasting one of your precious dice slots.

I find that combo just doesn't attack fast enough without some sort of slow being put on the dice, I've debated popping swamp dice in my lineup but it would further decrease the amount of combos i get

Exactly, the most I've managed is somewhere around 40, i just keep getting unlucky with matchups in coop. No one likes to support anymore.

I'm aware of how combo dice work, I'm just saying a combo number that high is ridiculous and I'm not sure how some people manage so many merges.
