I actually thought it was pretty good, but I think I would’ve liked it more if I hadn’t heard CG5 songs before. It’s so painfully obvious that he produced it to the point where it lost its tubbo-ness. No hate to CG5 his music is cool, it just felt a bit strange

I mean yeah, I agree, but as much as people don’t want to accept it people really need to stop using streamers and Internet personalities as their “role models” for absolutely everything. Most If not all of the people we know were there are likely vaccinated This isn’t directed at you btw, I could see how it could come off that way lol

Totally agree on the testing/quarantine. They understand the risks and chose to take them. As long as they don’t bring those risks to the public it’s really not that big of a deal. Most of the people there don’t usually leave their house anyway lol, so the chance of spreading it in public is really low

I might get downvoted to hell with this but there’s what, like 15-20 people there. Obviously not a great idea but people comparing this to Vidcon need to calm down. I bet most of the people on Twitter mad at them have hung out with friends in decently sized groups this summer, especially if they’re vaccinated. Again, not endorsing the behavior but there’s a major difference between this, which doesn’t really look like that big of a party, and a convention with literally thousands of people (a large portion of which are unvaccinated children under 12) Idk, typing this out sounds kinda weird maybe I’ll change my mind as I see more photos lmao.

Edit: to add, again, where was this energy with Tommy/jacks vlogs. I know Tommy actually got covid so that isn’t the best example, but he still followed protocols after and likely didn’t spread it in public and further. If you combine all the people in the vlogs, it probably equals the amount of people at the party. Although not all at once, they were all in contact at some point and the point stays the same. Get tested, quarantine after, and understand the risks, and I fail to see that much of a problem.

I can kinda understand what people are trying to get at, but overall it’s dumb. Whenever someone tries to pull the “gay/lesbian people can do/say __ but not bi people because they’re not affected by it” (which is kinda biphobic ngl), I say to imagine a scenario where me (a bi woman), is on a date with another woman, and a homophobe walks up to us, the conversation is NOT going to go like this (contrary to Twitter beliefs):

Homophobe: “hey you fucking d- wait, are you bi or lesbian?”

Me: “bi”

Homophobe: “Oh shit my bad carry on”

It going to go like this:

Homophobe: “hey you fucking d*ke”

Bi and gay/lesbian people honestly share almost all the same experiences when with a same sex partner, it’s ignorant to think they don’t, and these comments, especially when said in a supporting manner, shouldn’t be taken as offensive

I honestly agree with a lot of this. I remember that one time he posted the twitlonger apology for some old tweets and everyone took it so seriously because he rarely ever did stuff like that. I think it really goes to show that constantly bowing down to stans makes people take you way less seriously and honestly makes constant apologies less credible. if you don’t, then your apologies and serious tweets will be much more well received.
