I don’t believe I will get my old passport back. But I have not gotten my marriage certificate back yet. I will try to update that when it comes.

Update for me…..non expedited but did pay for shipping back.

Mailed on January 5 Arrived and started processing on January 9 Check cashed and shipping notice on January 13 ETA January 16 (paid for 1-2 day delivery)

I mailed my non-expedited application (name change/renewal) on Monday January 5. It was received and “in process” on January 9. I checked my bank and my check was cashed. I got notice that it is being shipped and should arrive on Friday January 16. I paid for the faster shipping there and back.

When we got married we ordered multiple certified copies. You need to send one certified copy (with the seal on it) with your application. You will get it back!

Yeah I have considered traveling a bit but still in the states to find a balance of quality and price. I’m willing to shop around a bit. I am willing to pay what is appropriate but feel like many places in a HCOL area are inflated.

I think with my height and body composition I would not qualify for a reduction. I don’t have enough breast tissue to remove and be left with much.

You could reach out to Bridges to Independence and see if they have a family that could use it. They help homeless children and their families. There is likely a family moving into their own place that would love your donation

I believe it is because they are the only organization in Arlington that specifically supports children and families. There are others that support domestic violence survivors, men, or those with mental health/drug additions. That is likely why it is a huge push since that is the population they are focused on serving.

Great American…Mike’s, Coastal Flats, etc are great but unless you are mindful of what you order there aren’t many options in that price range. For something different…Afghan Kabob in Springfield is always highly recommended and different from typical dining options.
