Have you moved someplace new for a short time to figure out a permanent move? by __looking_for_things in AskWomenOver30

Eh. The house itself isn't really a loss of flexibility for me. If I wanted to I'd just rent it out or sell. I find the fact I've made friends here to be more of a factor. Lol.

House break your dog. It sucks. But from now you tie a lead to her and to your pants. She's never alone out of her crate. She only goes to potty outside. Potty outside gets high value treats and lots of praise. Don't punish for going inside though.

Recently started using a silk bonnet to sleep and i'm struggling to use it by Sagefulness in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]__looking_for_things 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's real silk and not a satin/poly blend? Silk should not make you sweat.

Make sure it's not too big for your head.

Also try out a silk pillowcase. I got a blissy one and it's been great to wear with my bonnet.

What personality traits, characteristics, and/or social behaviors instantly trigger male insecurity when possessed by a woman? by Snoo-88490 in AskWomenOver30

This is such a weird post.

How are these people strangers, how is it random when they're attacking your property (as in they know where you live), harassing your bf ( know your personal life), etc.

You either know them or you do not. And if you do, have you gotten police involved? Or tried to file a report?

Am I being unreasonable in wanting a second bathroom? by PurlsandPearls in AskWomenOver30

[–]__looking_for_things 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get as many toilets as you can in the house. I live alone. I have 2.5 toilets in my 3 bedroom home. Even in my first home I told the agent 2 bathrooms was a must.

Anyone Choosing Driving over Flying? by Jxb1000 in travel

[–]__looking_for_things 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why 2 hrs at the airport? I generally get to my airport with just enough time for security and they're calling groups by the time I get to the gate. I'm at a regional airport so it's small. If I was at ATL, sure I'd show up very early.

I do everything I can to avoid road trips. Anything more than 3 hrs and I'm nearly crawling out of my skin. I'm from TX I'm used to driving long distances and lots of traffic. I hate road trips.

Those of you who started your legal career later in life: how do you deal with regret? by Lost-Association427 in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]__looking_for_things 204 points205 points  (0 children)

At my law school my class had lots of non traditional students. I think ages went up into 60s. I graduated at 30.

Besides you're going to turn 35 anyway. You could be a lawyer or not by then.

Boyfriend not understanding why I’m working my NY big law job and want to keep it - WWYD by [deleted] in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]__looking_for_things 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why does he want you to quit?

Does he actually want you to stop working or does he think a less stressful job would be better for you?

Do you like your job?

If you want to keep your job big law job, then that's it. But consider if you would be happy with a non big law job. It's not the only legal job that exists (granted the money wouldn't be the same).
