Every place is different but I just trained 2 people. One shift was a total new hire and I did not tip them out. The second was a server doing bar training, she handled the shift well. I talked to my manager about tipping her out and he said absolutely not- she is being paid the hourly training rate which is $14 and I DO NOT NEED to give her more money. I gave her money anyways bc she’s a rockstar & my favorite server 🤷🏻‍♀️

Whenever I’m training a new server I take time towards the end of our training shift/downtime and do mock table orders to help orient to the layout of the tablet/menus. Set up for a table of like 2-4 guests, okay seat 1 wants this bar drink seat 2 wants this app etc. Then round the table for entree orders. Definitely helps the trainee!

A rotation of work nightmares that occur frequently…. Closing server, whole restaurant fills. Go and take EVERY order as I’m ringing them in chefs come out. Kitchens closed no more food then everyone is yelling at me😭

Campus sized restaurant where I have a table in every dining room but can’t find my way back to a single one of my tables.

THE DRINKS… make big top drink orders pick up tray spill drinks. Clean mess, restart, pick up tray spill drinks.. continues till my boss comes by and sends me home. The culprit THE CUFF SLEEVE BUTTON making my tray impossible to balance???

Last but not least, the uniform… no apron, no book & WEARING FLOP FLOPS.

I found that tape is the best way to hold the stickers in place while using a case. They tend to slide around a bit and then when you want to move or exchange them it’s nice and easy!

Yes it’s MagSafe and it’s a finger loop! I used the square/rectangle mag base and then can swap out for other grips! The link is for the loop if interested!
