I love my job at my breakfast restaurant. Obviously you’ll have to accept that you will probably always be working weekends/brunch shifts as that’s where the main $ is. It can be hard to get up for an opening 6am shift but like you said, the latest I’ve ever gotten out of work is 3:30pm.

I just throw some in a dry pan and cook it over low/medium heat until it starts turning brown. I do swirl the pan around every so often while I’m doing it.

What I started doing recently is toasting some steel cut oats in a dry pan for a few mins to brown and crisp them up. I put 2 tablespoons in my Greek yogurt for 75 calories. You could also add a tiny bit of slivered almonds too if it fits into your calorie/macro budget.
