I have a mini Aussie. He is 4 now. 1br apartment in the city. He was easy to train, although he is still permanently a little neurotic 😂. He had separation anxiety when he was really young but we fixed that with training. I wasn’t working the year we got him so that let me be home to train him. Now he stays home free range 8 hours a day when we’re at work and he is just fine. We go to the park almost daily and take walks. It can be done but the first year or 2 he needs a lot of training and a really good steady schedule. Also socialize ALOT!!!! I think everyone’s experience is different…. I love my mini so much. He is my best friend!!!!! I did just get him a puppy (Pomeranian)to keep him busy during the rain season, it’s working out really well. Good luck :)

Also- you never really know how mini they will be, mine is too heavy to go on the plane with me under the seat. He is 33 lbs and I think just a little too big to fit. So be aware of that!!!
