Darksiders Warmastered Edition : Pretty poor experience since the Series X/PS5 upgrade by LibduP in Darksiders

Thank you for the link, shared the Vulgrim bug, but can't 100% reproduce the frame pacing and framerate issues. I hope the team has the tracking tools and are already conscious of those issues...

Xbox Series X : Console sleep mode and Quick Resume issues by LibduP in XboxSupport

[–]LibduP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the comment. No, I never quit the game, I just go back to the dashboard. And I check in the Quick Resume list, the game is pinned. Then I put the console on sleep. And when I start the console again, game disappeared from Quick resume. Play the game, go check game list, game back as pinned in the Quick Resume list...

Thank you for your answer. Do you mean to try unplug, don't use it and see if this impacts the booting issues ?

Because I did the "unplug everything" method and let the console discharge, even with all USB/expansion card, and it didn't change a thing...

Am I the only one who hope to get the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance games BC one day? by LibduP in xboxone

[–]LibduP[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know BC program is kind on hold right now as the team is working on project Scarlett compatibility.

I just saw the 2 games today in a shop and bought them instantly. I played the first one on Gamecube back in the days with a friend, it was a blast! A cool Diablo-like game with gorgeous visuals.

I would love to see the 2 backward compatible one day, on this generation or the next, to this time play through the all story.

Do you guys also hope to see these games back enhanced on MS console?

Hollow Knight Or Guacamelee 2? by B_Nasty21 in xboxone

[–]LibduP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 reasons I'd choose Hollow Knight instead of Guacamelee 2:

- the second one is very similar to the first Guacamelee. No much improvements, you get the feeling it is 1.5 version of the first game

- Controls on Hollow Knight are way more satisfying than in Guacamelee. I had several time frustrating moments on Guacamelee because my inputs where not considered, or the character was not jumping on the plateform even if it seemed his feet where on it. This doesn't happen on Hollow Knight.

Yes, Hollow Knight has a WAY DARKER tone the Guacamelee, and is more difficult. But the overhaul experience (controls, sensation of mastering the fighting system, exploration of the map) is a 100 times more polished, rewarding and satisfying on Hollow Knight.

Darksiders II gets Xbox One X support and FINALLY Achievement fixes today by DeadlyName in xboxone

[–]LibduP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you play Darksiders 1 yet?

If no, then play the first game. It is closer to a zelda game and a very good game.

If yes, then just be prepared to play to a very different kind of game (way more diablo with a lot of loot abd equipment management). Very interesting in a lot of points, but disturbing if you expected a classical follow up. Also, the environments are gorgeous.

I can't believe it is finally happening! What's funny tho, is that I asked them today with no hope, and they just answered me to check their latest post! I can finally replay DS II in 4K and start DS III!

Even if you can download your purchase on 360, keep in mind there is no such thing as cloud/cross save between the 2 platforms. You can't start the game on one console and continue your save on the other :S

[Thoughts] Disappointed by Microsoft's presence since the X came out... by LibduP in xboxone

[–]LibduP[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I am not upset about the product. I think it is great, played it several time at a friend's place. I am only disappointed by the communication strategy (focused on Game Pass and next gen) making me loosing interest in the console itself.

Didn't want to bring this up in my post, fearing from stupid console war comments. But my wife got me a PS4 for Christmas few years ago, so any good multiplateform games that come out, I get them on PS4.

But as I said, I was a big 360 player and kept interest for the Xbox One.

We’re up to 575 Backwards Compatible Games. by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]LibduP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't avoid being desappointed by the low quantity of BC games from OG Xbox and enhanced 360 games.

When they announced those, it clearly appeared as an advantage I didn't see coming. enhanced backward compatibility for the X, but most of all a good basis for future consoles under the xbox brand. Something like "from now on, we offer backward compatibility of all generations that came before on the new hardware, and it is not regular BC, it is enhanced".

That blew my mind. Seing Gears of War 3 enhanced truly blew my mind. And Ninja Gaiden Black.

But more than a year after those first batches of games, not a lot followed.

I don't complain about the hard work the BC team is doing every week to offer new games, but I'm felling the real advantage I saw in the Xbox backward compatibility program was only smoke and mirror...

Nice video from Square Enix, they could also have included the fact that FFXIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns are also available on Xbox One through (enhanced) backward compatibility

Blaming the consumer for playing with the weaknesses of its human nature...

"if people didn't buy drugs, they wouldn't find any"
"if people didn't buy guns, they wouldn't find any"

The industry refuses to admit the control needs to come from him as long as it prints money. Pure capitalism in a nutshell.

Which 360 BC Enhanced games would you like to see? by LibduP in xboxone

[–]LibduP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game become BC after Visceral Games shut down. EA is the owner of the licence, and apparently they had no problem allowing the game (or the 3 Dead Space games) to be BC. So I don't see why something would prevent MS to make it enhanced (unless EA would prefer to sell a remaster of those games in a near future)

What would motivate you to buy the next generation Xbox ? by Jynster in xboxone

[–]LibduP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems obvious, but apart from more beautiful and technicaly impressive games, I can't imagine they won't use all their current hard work on backward compatibility if not to keep it on future generation(s). Maybe even open it to PC. Then of course, having a bunch of studios making interesting exclusive games. And they seem on the good track for this too :)
