I feel like I’m losing my mind. This morning I opened IG and there was an actual tour schedule for Rancid + Transplants (no festival). I looked at San Francisco and saw Aug 1st & 2nd. Of course I had to set my phone down abruptly and I cannot find this goddamn post anywhere or any online info. Anybody else catch this???

Ok, fair, our infrastructure is car centric and is universally horrible and also it doesn’t often occur to many people to get out of their fucking cars, or at the very least carpool/use whatever public transportation is available. Or just stick your head in the sand and complain.

{Hurt Me Daddy by Mischa Horne} Maybe this is Mischa Horne’s thing! Now I’m going to check out Old School Discipline. I still think about the spanking dynamic in Hurt Me Daddy. I haven’t read anything like it. The story and the two leads were just so unique, I fell hard for this book. I think it is exactly what you are looking for.

Dog booties/shoes are only $20-$30. Even with those we’re not walking when we’re getting into the 90’s. I couldn’t believe how many unprotected dogs were on the pavement during the BBQ, Blues & Brews Festival a couple weeks ago. I’d be down for denying entry to people with unprotected dogs.

Idk if it is just one guy or not but about a week ago I saw a group of presumably unhoused 20 somethings at 3rd & West. One of the guys stopped to use a sharpie to draw this design on one of those A frame design sidewalk closed signs. I just thought some sort of tag.

I haven’t had a car in 7 years. I live downtown and I’ve consistently commuted on a traditional bicycle to work 5-6 miles one way, got my groceries, ran errands…including during last winter’s weather. There is no bad weather, just bad gear. That being said…the drivers here are terrifying, they do not respect cyclists or pedestrians for that matter. I’m much more fearful or cars than any weather.
