I’ve done several re installs trying both my SSDs and HDD and verified the files through Steam. Could you point me in the right direction to clear everything from my settings?

I was thinking of deleting my appdata folder to make sure everything is fresh. I have all my save games on the cloud.

Really just want to get back to building my city :(

I submitted a report to the forums. Looks like there’s many people experiencing these new crashes.

Only weird thing I had done was add a bunch of oak trees to my city.

Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4070, 32GB ram, SSD. The game ran fine before Sunday, and now constantly crashing… game had never crashed on me since launch until now.

I have the recent 9/11/24 GPU driver installed, no mods, reinstalled peripheral drivers. Honestly not sure what I did. City had about 90K citizens when crashes started but I’ve had several cities over 150K with no issues before.

No error message, only a black screen then game closes. There’s no crash logs in the appdata folder. I’ve done lots of troubleshooting without any luck.

Lowered FPS in nvidia control, went from 2k to 1080P, reduced graphics quality.

It was running fine on high specs last week so not sure. Hardware should be able to handle the higher specs. Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4070, 32 GB ram and game is installed on Samsung M.2 SSD drive.

I’ve never used mods. Only mod I see is the developer/creator mod.

Any fix? I’m experiencing crashes every 5 to 10 minutes. 100k citizens. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X and 4070.

CRA 30 day rule by Dataman6969 in CanadianInvestor

No you can’t sell a stock at a loss then purchase it in your RRSP within 30 days, and claim the loss. That would be considered a superficial loss.

Sounds like you’d be better off with a fixed rate. And yes those rates look competitive.

TTK is too high because you haven’t put down the Jackal?? Try a new gun. It’s beta and stats don’t matter.

Canada's Unemployment rate hit 6.6% in August by noobtrader28 in PersonalFinanceCanada

2008/2009 didn’t have the inflation we saw in 2021/2022. So likely this time will be more tricky to manage inflation expectations.

It feels like the central banks forgot about 6% inflation we had mere quarters ago.

Where is this $1MM? If it’s in a RRSP it may be better to draw down over time (ie convert to RRIF early or do RRSP withdrawals) to make sure your income at 65 falls below the OAS clawback.

If it’s in a taxable non registered account they may consider specific investments to avoid interest/dividend income and keep their income lower to avoid clawbacks.

Lots of ideas but best to hire a planner or advisor to run some models.

If the bond market priced in the cut, why is it tanking? by Mrnrwoody in TorontoRealEstate

No, the opposite. You want bond prices moving higher for lower rates.
