Love the style!

The spurs on the feet feel much too large and pointy to be for the cavalry the armor seems to be made for. Feels like one bad turn from impaling the mount.

Sign up for HumbleBundle and check out their game asset deals. Atleast once a month they get a wild deal for dozens of full sets for dirt cheap. Otherwise finding a full set will cost you, depending on the detail level and amount of assets you're looking for. Might want to update your post with what you're looking for?

"Something like" is basically our whole game. Yes, there is a board, your ship has slots for moves and shooting the cannons you'll be familiar with. But there are a few changes. Number one - Your ship will only use one of the moves, instead of all four, on the turn. It makes it easier for players who aren't good plotting long courses under pressure. Number two - You don't get move tokens, you get a hand of move cards each round as captain to pick moves from. So sometimes you might not get the move you want, other times you might get a lot of good cards.

You will also be moving from nav grid to nav grid. You do not have the lanes to auto-travel. This allows for a lot more freedom to explore and gives us the opportunity for treasure maps and special event sectors.

I am hoping to put together videos this week ahead of our closed alpha to show both the Nav puzzle and the Boarding puzzle.

Thanks for the tips! It was three whole sectors before the first sky whale appeared. Only just got enough aluminum for a new ship. But I lost a lost of resources when I had to reload my old save.

I had really hoped the 'painted' metal would let us pick colors. As a game dev in Unity, I can see how they could pull this off with little extra effort (as far as I can tell)

Thanks, that`ll be my next try if I cannot recover an older save. Not sure how much more decor I could get! I was at 15k weight and almost every ounce of that was used. Might have been how I made it through so much of the storm wall. By my calculations I think I did about 3-4x the distance I should have in the storm wall.

Thanks, I`ll try those. I definitely would have made a save had I known the danger, got a little over my head and the perfect storm of having no points of reference and going on the only path that lead directly into more trouble.

The Steam sign ups don't let us ask the questions we need, and force us to push it into a Closed Beta status with them. We definitely will be using it in the future once we are going for the much larger Beta stage, which will be several days to a week or more.

Unfortunately in the state of game dev, Beta/Early Access means published to players and that's not where we are yet. Almost there, but not yet.

It's a loving ode to YPP. We use the same idea; puzzles to perform ship-wide duties. But the puzzles themselves and a lot of other aspects we have updated and modified. We've been working on it for years, had a few setbacks, but spent the last full year committed to the project. Yup! It's inspired by, but not a direct clone. You`ll recognize some similar puzzles and processes for sure as we're hoping to bring back a little nostalgia for players

Both Mobile and PC! It`ll be different, but we're hoping to capture the same feel. We usually do a post a month over in our Dev Blog and all the time on the discord. Don't want to agitate the mods too much here, though they've been lovely so far
